The 2026 American Farmstead Convention will be held in the Cattleman’s Arena.

Parking & Directions

We ask the cooperation of the public to enter the fairground parking area from the State Road 16 entrance only and park as directed by the Clay County Sheriff’s officers.

Entrance traffic from SR 16 to parking lots is one way and exit traffic to CR 315 is one way. Please follow exit signs.

The Clay County Fairgrounds is located 4 miles West of Green Cove Springs on State Road 16

From the North:
Take I-95 South to I-295 South; Exit at US 17 South in Orange Park; Travel South to Green Cove Springs (13 miles) and turn right on SR 16 West; Go approximately 4 miles and the fairgrounds is on the left.

From the East:
Take 9A to I-295 North to US 17 South in Orange Park; Travel South to Green Cove Springs (13 miles) and turn right on SR 16 West; Go approximately 4 miles and the fairgrounds is on the left.

From the South:
Take I-95 North to SR 16 at St. Augustine Outlet Mall; Exit on SR 16 West toward Green Cove Springs; Continue on SR 16 West across the Shands bridge; At the red light take a right (still on SR 16) to the next red light; Turn left by Walgreens continuing on SR 16 West toward Penney Farms; Go approximately 4 miles and the fairgrounds is on the left.

From The West:
From US 301 in Starke, take SR 16 East to the fairgrounds.
From US 301 in Maxville, take CR 218 to SR 16 in Penney Farms; Turn left on SR 16 to the fairgrounds on the right (3 miles).

FAQs

Can I bring A cooler or wagon?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a cooler or a wagon but alcohol is NOT allowed. There will be items you can buy at the farmers market that will need to be kept in a cooler so you can enjoy the day. A wagon may be handy to tote your purchases around. We will also have a plant holding area available .

Can I bring a chair?

Yes, you are welcome and encouraged to bring a chair but it is not completely necessary. The convention will be held in the Cattleman’s Arena, which has stadium seating. You may still find that you want your own while watching demonstrations, sitting closer to the main stage, or for lunch. We will have picnic tables in the shaded, covered arena this year.

Is there re-entry?

Yes, this year we will have re-entry! Upon scanning your ticket in the morning you will receive an armband.

Does my ticket cover BOTH days?

There are TWO ways to attend the convention. You can buy a weekend pass which will get you in to BOTH days or you can buy a Saturday ONLY or Sunday ONLY ticket.
